I am the wife of Vince S. who has written some postings here. I have read some of the postings and saw his on here. I do usually get up with him when he is having a headache....but I feel so useless. It is such a terrible thing to witness the one you love in such pain and not being able to do anything for them. I was interested to hear how your spouses feel and what they do for you. Sometimes I feel like I am annoying him and sometimes I think it helps him when I am there. I always hear him up..but sometimes I am telling my body to get up out of bed and go downstairs with him...but my body doesn't always want to listen. Then I think he is upset or thinks I don't care about him and that is not the case. I usually go to bed late and I get up at 6:30 every morning and it is hard to get my body up and moving sometimes. I wish there was something I could do...it is such a useless feeling to watch that and not be able to do anything for him. I feel so bad for all of you going thru this. Although we don't have the agonizing pain, the spouses suffer a different pain...watching you go thru this and unable to help you.
