I need help from the men on the board, before I get to hot and get a cluster!

OK the problem is I get clusters when I get to hot. I am tearing up the the crap on the dinning room floor. I can't spell it but not tile but Lanoleeum (STOP LAUGHING!) Most of it came up but whats's left is pieces of the backing, pastboard. Last night we laid wet towels over the spots this morning I got up and it loseing it some. I have more wet towels on it now. The floor is concret underneath so the water won't hurt it.
Any of you men know a better way to remove it. It gets hot down on the floor, using Todd's wired looking tool scraping the floor! The last thing I want is a cluster I have not had one in a few days :-)! Plus I want to get through with that floor.
