Thank you for your words of support. Having dealt with CH for 16 years, it is nice to have people to talk to who know exactly what I am going through. Although, after reading some of the postings, I must admit that I am one of the lucky ones. My last attack was 2 1/2 years ago when my daughter was born and the CH was a side effect of the epidural I received during labor. They come less frequently as I get older.
I've printed out several pages of this site and given to my husband to read. He does his best to understand, but is getting frustrated because the doctors can't find any reason behind the attacks. He is a very "there's a reason for everything" kind of guy. I guess that is what makes him such a good attorney.
I had a conversation over the phone today with my mother-in-law and she was surprisingly supportive. I guess the phone call at 2:00 a.m. Thursday opened her eyes. She came over to watch Raechel (my toddler) so that my husband could take me to the hospital.
So all in all, today was a pretty good day (aside from the 2 CH). My baby girl is asleep in my spot on the bed with her arms wrapped around her purple hippo. No matter how much I hurt, that always makes me feel better.
