It's truly amazing to find people who know what I am going through.
I got my first attack 2 years ago on April 26th(my birthday....cruel joke). That first "session" lasted until August 13th. In that time I saw 8 doctors, had a root canal(great diagnoses there) a CAT scan for my sinuses and 6 emergency room visits. My 8th doctor referred me to a neurologist who diagnosed me in about 15 seconds. This was of course on August 16th. After the pain had ended. The neurologist was kind enough to let me know that I could look forward to this for the next 20 years. I hope he is wrong. So far he has been right. They have come back again, it's what inspired me to look on the web for help. I am not looking forward to the rest of my life if it has to go on this way.
Anyway, I have no insurance. Does anyone know some low cost treatment or prescription for this? My previous doctor gave me sublingual ergotomine tartrate for the attacks but it is fairly useless as the attacks generally end before the drug takes effect.
