I am sorry to say most of us have had CH a long time. 25 years for me. The 3 things that help most are verapemel (for prevention) not sure what the cost is, O2 for when the CH comes on (I have seen on the site where it is not too expensive and it works pretty well for most of us), and imetrex also for those that come through (now that is VERY expensive) but it works. I have not found a prevention that works for me but there are lots on this site and I haven't tried them all yet. I am lucky to have insurance. Hope this helps some. Keep us posted.
