My cycle starts in August and always ends in December. I, like many of you, have been on Depakote SR, Verapamil, Toprol XL, Imitrex, Maxalt, 02, and on a CPAP machine. Two weeks ago while having the worst cycle in years, I went to my chiropracter to treat the associated neck pain. He had a Chinese acupunturist visiting from Bejing and suggested talking to her about my clusters - which she was totally familiar with. She treated me by making two small punctures at the top of my ears and allowed them to bleed for a minute or so. She then taped magnets and birdseed to certain pressure points along the outside areas of my ears. Three days later, I became pain free. I know it sounds primative and sick, but it worked for me. It ended my cycle in three days. I consider myself a normal, intelligent and somewhat sophisticated individual and would have never agreed to this type of treatment except for the fact that I was desperate.
If anyone is interested, email me and I'll give you the name of this Chinese Doctor. Please, I can do without all of the bashing some of you will be inclined to deliver.
