As I am into my cycle about 5 weeks, I have had no more than 2.5 hours sleep. The doc will not prescribe anything more than Ambien or Lorezepam. All that I want is a couple of nights sleep. I go to the clinic at school where the services are free and I really cant afford to go elsewhere. I do believe that they think I want a "good buzz" or something. No, I am not a typical college student - I am 39. I feel as though my body is crying for sleep and the doc says "Your Boy will adjust to the change in sleep patterns." Right now I am a walking zombie and my grades are rapidly plummeting!! I feel like I am beating a dead horse and am gun shy everytime I ask for some sort of sleeping pill.
