Wondering if there's any connection between strain on the muscles of the neck and/or shoulder and the cluster headaches. Have had the CH for about 11 years. A few years ago, my neck and shoulders were strained at work due to repetitive motion. The confusing thing is that the headaches had the same symptoms as the CH that I had had for the last several years. Last year they were brought on by hanging drywall on the ceiling. This year, it was digging a 6 foot deep ditch for about a month. What if the strain weren't caused by somthing so obvious as drywall hanging? Anyway, I was perscribed Vicodin for the strain and it has been the only thing since I've been dealing with these CH that has helped. Of course, until I started looking on the Web, I'd never heard of alot of the medications, especially the oxygen. So, you all think I have just your run of the mill muscle strain headaches?? Well then, why are the symptoms the same?
