Okay, now I am thoroughly confused.
I am positive that I have read, on this board and on links provided on this board, that Calcium INTERFERES with the body's absorption of Magnesium, hence if one is taking mag supplements with the idea of easing headaches, one should NOT take calcium supplements at the same time. Yet Tracy and Bob J have been told that the REVERSE is true.
I am sorry I don't have time today to dig through the archives to find these links of which I speak, but I swear I am not making this up.
Does anyone out there know for sure the relationship between cal and mag absorption? Anyone know any links that can be used as reference?
I have been taking 600 mg of magnesium for over a month now, and have quit milk to lower calcium levels. Have I been doing this all wrong?
