In my case, when a CH comes on, my emotion is one of anger, but logic and reason must prevail, and submission to the pain, but can also get depressed, if the CH's lag on for long periods of time and I have more important things to do. Depression is lack of hope. In cases of mental illiness, they're drugs, but also like CH's, the doc will play around for years trying to find the right combination. Gosh I am getting depressed by typing this.
