Seeing the term cluster and migraine used in one
post brought up a question I have. The neuro I
saw this week (for the first time) first used the
term "cluster migraine headache", but then went on
discuss it in terms of cluster headaches. When
I asked him about the term Cluster migraine, he
said that it was a term that was used more in the
past, and he sometimes still uses. Although it
made me a bit concerned when he said that he
seemed to know what he is talking about and he
put on Maxalt and Calan SR.
Finally getting to my question, is it true that
was a term used in the past (I am thinking it was)
and could that be a sign of a less than "perfect"
neuro (or better a less than perfect neuro to see
to help with CH)?
The good news is that this cycle seems to be ending;
the bad news is that I wish I would have seen the
Dr. six weeks ago.
