In my opinion, it is a bunch of migraines during a short period of time. Example----in Sept. I got at least 2 migraines every week since school started. Since the last week of Sept., no migraines, till this morning. I will get an occasional one between "bunches", but I probably won't get the "cluster of migraines" again until around Christmas. This is my definition, not my neuro's. He seems to understand the difference between a ch and a migraine. He can describe their symptoms perfectly. He has never used the term "cluster migraine", however. I would ask your doctor to describe a cluster and then describe a migraine. If he can do that, you should be ok. If not, and he describes them in the same fashion, I may be concerned. Again, this is MY definition of cluster migraine----not a doctor's.
