I agree with much of what Dave said. Some of mine
will only reach a 5 or 6. What I have found, and
I may be nuts in thinking this, is that on days
that I will have 2 or 3 attacks, none of them reach
a 10. But, on days (or rather nights) that I only
get one, it is a 10. Two nights ago, it was 10+
and lasted longer than any other this time around.

Now my questions,
Actually I have two questions, since I am still
trying to figure this all out.
First, after going through a particularly painful
attack, have any of you ever experienced what I
call a residue headache. It isn't really painful,
but it is a dull ache that will last for hours
after the crying and pacing ends?
Second, and this goes more with a previous thread
concerning triggers, does anyone have inconsistent
triggers? I mean, I went for two days without a
any headaches; went to a ball game and had a beer,
and had a major attack. Then a week later, had
headaches for a few days, one day had a beer and no
headache, but then had headaches a the next two days.

(by the way, if anything I write leads anyone to
think I may not have Cluster Headaches, please let
me know and if I am asking questions that have been
covered before, please point me to the archives)
