Last Friday, while out at a restaurant, I had all the symptoms of a CH, except the pain. We were eating at a Japanese restaurant, and suddenly at 8:05pm, I began to sweat heavily. My left eye got bloodshot and felt like it was swollen every time I blinked, my left nostril began to drip, there was a hard pulse above and behind my right eye. Basically all the symptoms that I usually have with a CH, except I didn't feel any pain, at all. Within ten minutes, I had a soaking wet shirt, and my friends wanted to take me to the emergency room, for fear I was having a heart attack. I convinced them to take me home first. The only new symptom was stomach cramps. At 9:00pm, all the symptoms stopped. Except for feeling as if I had just finished running a marathon, I felt fine.
I am currently taking 540mg of Verapamil, which has increased the time between HAs from 23-25 hours to 4-5 days. I don't remember ever having this experience.
Anybody out there in cluster-land have the same thing happen?
