Just found an interesting study out of London in which the patients CH were triggered by red wine but not by vodka. Researchers suggesting that there may be something in red which are the problem, not alcohol. (Doesn't surprise me if that turns out to be the case because several hundred compounds have been identified in red wine.)
But this consistent with my experience: during an active period I can drink white wine but not red or Scotch.
