Just wanted to ask about a very unusual cluster experience and some of the normal pains. I have been suffering from clusters for about 20 years and have been getting them almost every 1.5 to 2.5 years with clusters lasting between 3-5 weeks. I have been using Imigran successfully (mostly injections, as the pain is very strong and sometimes the pills don't work), although it makes me very numb.
For the first time this year it lasted for about 8 weeks now and is still there although with breaks of up to 4 days (making me believe that it's over and then coming back). I am living a life of panic and am not capable of living a normal life anymore (not going out not seeing friends, trying to sleep all the time etc...). I don't know why it's changing the way it has always been...?
Also I am experiencing extreme problems with the muscles of my neck, shoulder and upper back on the right side, where I have the clusters behind my eye. The neck seems to be connected to the clusters as I really feel that it almost causes a cluster, when my neck is tight. Also I made a mistake yesterday when after a brewak of almost 5 days of pain I started working out and did a sauna, after which I felt very bad and am now experiencing the start of a cluster headache again.
Anybody out there...?
I am so f***** depressed!
