Hi Carl. I have nothing to add to the SSI question except that I have a lawyer friend in Puerto Rico who does patient advocacy in representing people applying for SSI. If you come up with a list of questions I could try to pick his brain for you. In the meantime, my offer of free Verapamil still stands, to you or anyone who can't afford or has no insurance for it. I emailed you on this but havent heard back from you.
The only other thing I know about SSI is that it is my understanding that they automatically deny a claim the first time. Apparently the philosophy is that if you really need it you will pursue it vigorously. This seems to be a common perception, and you've probably heard that one before.
