Last night I was getting for my next round of C.H. and when it hit, it was at least a 15 on the Kip scale. I was writhing around on the floor, used a whole bottle of 02, and my last imitrex, got into the shower with all my clothes on, almost put my fist through a window and just literally went nuts! My chronic H.A are usually very consistant. Anywhere from 5 to 15 a day and the pain stops at the level of a ten. This, however was totally different and I am really scared. After it was over, I tried to think of anything I did different that day and could come up with nothing. No alcohol of course. No more or less stress than usual, NOTHING! I live by myself and had no one to drive me to E.R. as obviously I couldn't drive in that condition. It lasted about 2 hours and then just shadows. Has anyone had this experience where they are even more painful than ever before? (I know, I didn't think it possible either) Also, I always thought that when the human body is subjected to intolerable pain like that, a person will pass out??? Maybe I've watched too many movies, but it just didn't happen and I was certainly praying for it. I am now afraid to leave my house, for fear that this will happen in public. If it did, they would surely have me committed to a looney bin, if they saw what I went through last night. Anyone who has had a similar occurance in their H.A.'s I'd sure like to know about it. P.S. After this was over, I went to my computer, and found an e-mail from an "ANGEL" asking me if I would like her to send me some free Imitrex nasel spray. She has Migraines and likes the injections better. If I would like her too??????? (silver Lining????)
