I am 42 years old and have been suffering with CH's for 12 years now. I have been diagnosed chronic with some short repreves here and there and am now considering the surgery. My Doctor has told me to contact Dr. Ninan Mathew in Houston,TX and at this point I would give my left eye not to ever have one of these headaches again. My question to you is did it really work. Just to know that there is hope will keep me from pulling the trigger if you know what I mean. I know I have an insurance battle on my hands but that's a battle worth fighting if hope exists. Tell me if I'm wrong, is it better to have the side affects from the surgery or to be constantly medicated with all the drugs the doctors prescribe with little or no results. Just looking for reassurance from someone whi has been there. There is some people on this site that is totally against this operation and I see it as hear say. Help if you can.
