Hi
For the last 28 months I have had the rarest type of Cluster Headaches call Chronic Cluster Headaches.
This means for the last 28 months I have had it 24/7 with no breaks of the cycle with the headaches, eye pain and facial pain and its all on one side of head.
I have seen 4 different Doctors over the last 28 months keepping the first doctor and getting 2nd 3rd and 4th opinions.
Each Doctor without me telling them I have seen a Doctor all say I have this rare type of Cluster Headaches.
I have tried allmost 10 different medicines.
This is not counting pain medicines.
All the medicines helped to get me 50% better but I have been stuck at 50% for over 1 year.
As for pain medicines I started taking
Tylenol #3 200 per month.
Then Vicoden 5/500 200 per month.
Then Lortab vicoden 10/500 200 per month.
They all seems to work for awhile then they stop.
Now they want me to try Methadone 3 10mg per day and if thats not enough I can take the endocet 2 to 6 per day.
By doing this they are hoping for me to take less pain killers per day.
Thye are hoping that all I will need is the Methadone and maybe 1 or 2 Endocets
So I want to now if anyone has taken the methadone and how long did it work for you before it stopped working for you?
Also I want to know if you have taken Methadone in the past how long did it take to get unhooked on them.
Also does anyone have some ideas on how to lower my pain down?
