Signs of going chronic?

I've been episodic since 1992, but '01 was terrible since May. I ended up on prednisone off and on until Oct, with adrenal suppression, then went on verapamil, but haven't been completely free of some residual symptoms since May.

So I'm into month 9 without a complete break in my cycle. I am very nervous of March which in the past brought kip 10s. Is 9 months without some residual pain mean I am possibly going chonic?

Have an appointment with my neuro in March. Anyone think doubling my verap from 240 to 480 might help?
