it is recommended that you start out on 15mg...My Doc tried me on it once before but he put me on 30mg ...and I laid there all nite staring at the ceiling...My pharmacist said for me to cut back to 15mg. to start with...Remeron is more sedating at low levels...the higher the dose, then it starts to "jack" you up instead of help you sleep...I ended up stopping the Remeron...I guess cause I hate pills...have taken too many in my lifetime...Good luck..smiles,nancyc
