I went twice in over 20 years ...the first time I was one block from the ER in my car and this was not long after they had started....was scared to death cause I did not know what I had and thought I was had a brain tumor or something...The last time was when I was at work, got hit really bad, the Imitrex injection did nothing....so while driving me home, my coworker dropped me off at the ER as it was on the way home...I had been in pain for about 1 1/2 hours by then and knew I had nothing at home to stop the pain...Good thing I did cause this was the one of the longest chs I had ever had...lasted about 3 hours...and found out my b/p was sky high. As far as all the other million times, I am like you, WHY BOTHER? They are usually gone by the time you get to see the Doc at the ER...I had rather hide in my bathroom..Excellent question, bro...very interesting....smiles, nancyc
