WHY, do people go to the ER for something that will likely be gone by the time they get there?

26 yrs chronic and I have never been to the ER for CH.

I live and always have 5 mins from the hospital and never ever thought of going there cause I knew as I waited it would end and I would look like an asshole or drug addict at best.

Sure, if I chop my hand off I know the pain aint going to go away and ill go, but CH?
