one day.
Since I was young I feared the day Clusters would begin. I , being square jawed and tall with hazel eyes and ruddy complexion, had been constantly warned by school nurses to expect this eventual inevitable variation of migraines known back then as Cloisters.
I had tried to avoid stress, the universal trigger, at all cost. I kept away from activities such as Scouts, knowing wood smoke, hiking, changes in elevations, moldy tents and the stress of a militaristic lifestyle would combine to welcome the start of that first cycle.
THAT DAY...in a fearfilled effort to escape a gang of ruffians I pedaled my bike extremely fast and eventually received a serious head/neck injury after crashing into the side of a septic tank cleaning truck.
I don't have to tell you what followed. I will though.
Reoccuring headaches from 5 minutes to 3 days, inability to stand even a speck of light, a tooweet of sound, a twatch of movement, or a snick of scents. Aspirins even extra strength were useless unless taken with a lot of Vodka. That was six years ago. I found this site the next day.
I wish you all shelter from the storm...a cozy fire to keep you warm...and...most of all....when snowflakes fall...i wish you love.
