My Very First Cluster

January 1971

Woke up with it.

Lasted about an hour.

Came back every day.

Finally went to the Dr.

He said it was an infected sinus.

He gave me antiobiotics and a painkiller.

They had no effect.

Fast forward to 1977.

Getting one cycle of 6 weeks every year.

Saw the first mention of "Cluster Headaches" in a Cosmopolitan Magazine health column ( I was thumbing through looking at the babes with the cleavage ). The column described my experience to a T. I knew I had this thing called cluster headaches.

Anyone Else?
