On the stress side, I agree with you (speaking for myself) that stress don't cause CH cycles, not the after stress time.
I can relate (perhaps) the start of whole CH (25 years ago) to my divorce, but I have had other, many and worse times, and CH striked me ALWAYS on December.
May be a Santa's allergy... :-)
