I encountered a curious event last night for what its worth. Just wondering if anyone has an explanation or if they have seen something like this before.I have been for the most part, controlling chronic CH with various anti-seizure meds for about the last year. I will get a few bad days once in a while that I can handle with triptans. Between the prevents and the aborts, I haven't had anything above maybe a 3 or 4 in about the last year. (ok, maybe an occasional 5 or 6, grin).Last night while in my truck at a stop light, another car rear-ended me. Minor damage, no one was hurt. After a few choice words regarding the other driver's mother's sexual partners who must have caused his conception, I got hit with a major CH. It went from zero to near 8 or 9 within mere seconds. No "normal" warning signs. One second I'm cussing the guy that wrecked my truck and the next I'm cussing my head.(Needless to say, the driver, the police who eventually showed and the EMT's who the police called were a bit befuddled as I tried to explain that I wasn't hurt from the accident even though I was bouncing around the side of the road holding my head and screaming)So come on all ye experts: adrenaline rush from the accident, "stress" from being so mad about getting my truck wrecked, full moon? Any ideas on the sudden onset or was it mere cowinkidink?
