Like Annemarie in Holland, we had 3 minutes silence here in the UK. I work in the central London. Just before 11, workers started pouring out of the office buildings to stand in silence in Finsbury Square, and many other open spaces. Traffic stood still. Even building sites were silent. As Charlie said, many Britons are also missing, feared dead but we did not have to suffer the horrendous destruction on our soil. While we carry on with our lives, we must trust our leaders and Governments to act wisely and judiciously in the coming months. I'm not going to offer any opinions on what should be done - I don't have the answers, just one question. Why?
