And also to thank everyone for their posts and letters of support.
Thank you all.
Actually, if you remember Pinky, I took my 2nd dose within 24 hours of the first, not knowing I should have waited 5 days. (Not that I wasn't told, LOL, just that I didn't read my instruction booklet fully ;-)
So, I took a total of 5 doses, the first two within 24 hours, then started the next doses about a month later. I then took the final 3 doses, all in 5 day intervals.
I did try to increase the effects and affects by increasing the doses but I guess I didn't increase it enough for any discerable difference. I'd say that 3.5 - 4 grams puts me into the upper regions of a level 1 trip and 2.5 - 3 grams puts me in the mid-range of level 1.
At first I thought it might be a difference in the strength of the mushrooms at hand, but 4 grams of these new shrooms was about the same as 3 grams from the same batch.
If need be, I will go to 4.5 or 5 grams when and if the beast returns. I'm pretty sure that it had been long enough for all the other meds to be uneffective on the shrooms in doses 3-5. I guess I just need a "lot" of shrooms to get to level 2. That or better music, although I enjoyed my Pink Floyd and Moody Blues CD's thank you very much ;-)
I wonder now if I could deduct those cd's from my income tax as a medical expense....hmmmmmm
Yes, it's been almost a month since my last dose.
I had a few "shadows" in the first 24 hours following the 5th dose but nothing that resembled a cluster since.
Yes, it was a steady improvement following each dose. Following the 3rd dose, there was an improvement and the attacks could be better characterized as "strong shadows." Each time the shadows started within 24 hours of the dose, but each time lessening in intensity. Following the 3rd and 4th doses, the shadows continued until I took the 4th and 5th doses, respectively.
thanks to all, again
