I've been anxiously awaiting this post, folks. Some questions and thoughts:
You say that each dose was sufficient to produce a "level 1" experience, and that you needed a total of 5 doses in order to abort the cycle completely. May I ask why you chose not to increase the dosage to "level 2" in the hopes of getting more effective relief? I am NOT criticizing, simply curious.
You were unable to resupply for a month after your first dose. Over what period of time did you take the last 4 doses? Was there a steady improvement after each dose, or was it variable?
How long has it been since your last dose? Almost a month?
I agree with your conclusion that the reason the first dose lasted such a short time was because of the lingering traces of medication in your system. DHE was certainly one culprit, but there were enough others in the list to be unsure if it was SOLELY the DHE.
Congratulations on a well-deserved remission. Here's hoping that it is a long one!
