I am like Ree who also answered your post. I get different kind of headaches that do disturb my vision, but only at the onset of the headache. My hubby is a cluster sufferer, however and he has never complained of vision problems.
Is your hubby not able to see at ALL out of that eye or is he seeing 'spots'. Like when you look at a bright light too long? Does this happen even when he's not in pain? Sure sounds like he needs to see an eye doctor if that's the case.

And you might want to try Dramamine for him, to help him sleep. Sometimes it can prevent middle of the night attacks.
