Thank you so much for your comments. I have read some of your postings. I don't know what to say to you. You have suffered with this so long, how can you cope? There are so many of you. I never knew there were so many people with this awful awful thing. My husband has had this now for over 10 years. I have looked for information, but nothing as good as this website! He gets it about once or twice a year. It skips a night all the time. So the next night, guaranteed, it comes on at 10 minutes to 1. He gets out of bed and runs to the medicine cabinet. He goes to a tv set and hits his head and watches tv. I usually get up and sit nearby. Sometimes, I sleep and don't know he was up for a few hours, and I feel guilty for not being with him. This whole thing lasts several weeks. He's afraid to fall asleep on "the night". Feel so terrible for him....and all of you out there going through this too. Don't know what to say.
