I think the machine itself is pretty cool and I have a total understanding of what it does and how it works.
The problem I have is with confined spaces and not being able to move.
I`d be in hell if I was a circus clown and had to jam myself in a tiny car with a few other clowns. You also will never see me trying to jam myself in a phone booth with a bunch of other people,or in a packed elevator.
Straight jackets and being handcuffed behind my back are a couple of things I think would also freak me out so I hope I never get commited or arrested.
The catch with the MRI is that the IS room in the thing to move,BUT moving is the one thing you`re told not to do. So this leaves you with nothing to do but think about the small space you`re in.
I`ve found only one thing I can deal with that involves being restrained for a period of time without being able to move. It`s a latenight activity with my girlfriend and involves sensations more powerfull than those of my phobias. I could easily spend an hour in the MRI machine, but I really dont think the techs would agree to it. LOL
