Most of you guys know I work for the State of SC as an RN..well, noone told me but we have a library down at the old state hospital. I went to it today and it was neat. It was on the top floor and it was sort of spooky (you could almost hear the ghost going OHHHHHHHHHH) anyway, they had all kinds of neat medical journals..there I sat like a kid in a candy store with all these journals around me...knowing I had to hurry and get home as I am expecting company. Anyway, I saw several articles on Neurontin, also called Galapentin, being used for clusters. We use it in Drug and Alcohol tx. for all kinds of pain...sort of a cure all and to avoid narcotic use. A friend of mine uses it for Peripheral Neuropathy. I am on Topamax which is also an antiseizure drug..go figure. anyway, Neurontin is being used alot for neurological pain and working good. I am glad it is working for you. Plan to go back and try to find some articles on it. When I do, I will send them to you. Let me know your email. Oh, I also found an article on women and cluster headaches and a book on cluster headaches. (the book is old though). Fortunately, most of the articles they have there are recent. Smiles, nancyc
