I have been a CH sufferer for 14 years. They used to come about every three to five years however, recently they have been coming every three to six months. I am 57 years old and have been told that as you get older they begin to tapper off! As you can guess, I have a hard time believing that! I have used everything that is out there that is legal and I can tell you that I am considering some that arn't! I am looking for prevention not just something to ease the pain when it comes. I use imitrex injections and it stops the pain for about two hours. I have found if I take Zomig after taking Imitrex after two hours, it will keep me for about seven to eight hours pain free. Zomig lasts longer than Imitrex. I know that Doctors will tell you not to combine the two however, for me they work! As you know, what works for some, may not work for others. As I said earlier, I am looking for prevention. If, anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them. Good luck to all of you! Eddie D.
