a concentrated drug derived from the coco leaf. Was used by Civil war veterans that were addicted to morphine with little pain relief, I was only put on morphine once and thought it was useless. It was not addictive if used in moderation according the History channel, they said it was very effecitive in treating headaches, but didn't mention which kind. I think clusters were predominate, read about terrible piecing headaches caused by stacking tons of horse manure in large cities. Ammonia and hydrogen sulfide gas to mention a couple are heavily emitted by decaying manure, one of my key triggers.
Cocaine was also misused, it would both sharpen the mind and body, was given to poor blacks so they could work much harder, and when some blacks rebeled it became a racial issue and banned. Doyle, the guy that wrote Sherlock was a heavy user.
I am weary of off the street drugs, not controlled and you don't know what the hell you are getting, cocaine has limited use for eye surgery. Still think most of our suffering is caused by ignorance more so than anything else.
