Irka, Thanks for the info you have provided. I'm considering accupuncture as an alternative. As for your question about allergy... I have been tested 3 different times and now found that I show some allergic reaction to 122 different things. I have often thought that CH's were seasonal as the result of triggers being stored up in the system until they had to manifest themselves in some way, ie., CH. I'm taking maxalt right now with good results but I also take over-the-counter decongestants (the cheapest ones that I can find) every day, all day long. A few days ago I ran out and didn't think anything of it until I had a full blown whopper that lasted 3 hours and the meds wouldn't touch. I am in week four now after 2 years of remission with a 19 year history of CH. I've never had a remission that long before (6 mo. max) but the only thing different was a lot of allergy trouble and almost daily antihistamines until 2 months ago. A connection? Who knows. Since medical science continues to basically pass over us we are constantly on the lookout for any and all connections. Hope you find yours. JAS
