This is just a question, kind of. Why can't the doc do the injection in his office even though you are not having a headache? Would the body's reaction be any different? Surely the doctor could whip out a free sample and give it a try. I know that Imitrex is expensive and would SEEM like a waste, but if you can't be with the doc while your getting attacks, why can't you "burn one" under supervision to check your reaction. Just wondering.
