If you have never tried this, I PLEAD that you give it a try:
A number of people have corroborated that they can effectively abort cluster headaches with about 5-10 minutes of intense physical exercise and heavy breathing.
Various people have suggested: push-ups, sit-ups,stairmaster, weight-lifting, jumping jacks, and arm swinging.
Before I knew this worked, I used to suffer through my cluster headaches. But to this date, I have not had a cluster headache I could not completely abort with 5-10 minutes of weight lifting or other very intense physical activity and deep breathing. Sometimes the attack comes back a few hours later, but if I just do it again, it usually goes away.
Again, if you have never tried this, and there's a chance it might work, I plead that you give it a shot!
