family member, what can i do

My dad is suffering from a severe cycke of cluster headaches - i am a nurse, i have tried to help him obtain as much info as possible, have tried oxygen, imitrex, he is under the care of a neurologist - nothing has helped. I am at quite a bit of a loss, what can I do to be of help and support - and any ideas for irretracable headaches?
