I've suffered from cluster headaches since I was 17 years old (22 years now). Thank God for Imitrex. I take the shots. I normally have my cluster in late May, and lasts 10 to 12 weeks. I have 3 or 4 headaches a day, which means I end up in the ER at least once a day for a shot of pain killer. I've seen many doctors and neurologists, and they've never mentioned "pure oxygen" to me once. Do you take it at the onset of a headache or what? Is this something medical insurance typically covers. Even with 80% Rx coverage, my Imitrex expenses are quite costly. Is the oxygen treatment costly?
