I would like to thank all of you for responding.
My son is 14. His an excellent student. His lowest grade is a B-.
I talked to the school nurse the first week of school. In his school record`s it states from his doctor Josh is pron to HA`s. About 2 week`s ago I started going round`s with the same teacher he is having trouble with now. I talked to her and told her what kind of HA`s my son has. I also at this time had the school nurse inform all of his teacher`s of his HA`s. I really dont think my son has CH. His symtom`s or different than what we talk about. But I know when he does have a HA is can take a toll on him. Example`s: The first sign of his HA he need`s to take his tylenol. He can get grouchie, it can be hard for him to explain to other`s what his head is going through at the time of the HA`s. He might just want to take the tylenol, eat a little something then sleep.
I`m his mother and now the sign`s to look for. Which I have told the school. I have set up a meeting with the princible, the teacher, the nurse, and a councler. for next week. I flat out refused to sign this paper they sent home with my son until we talk. What they did was wrong.
I just wonder how many other children suffer and or not stood up for? I`m a mother on a mission.
Thank`s again to all of you. Just wanted to make sure I was not wrong here.
Hug`s to all Linda B
