Also Margi, drug companies and doctors ARE capitalizing on us at this very moment. The only difference I see is that you are making a distinction between sufferers of ch charging money and non-sufferers doing the same. In your own words, Rocky does not suffer from ch, and Daniel freely admits that he doesn't either, so they are not sufferers trying to make money on our pain. As for Rocky, I have yet to see any proof of him saying that he works for MSM or gets any money from the sale of it at all. My point in my previous post, was that saying that Rocky capitalizes from telling us of MSM is like saying Paco profits from telling us Redhot.
My god, Margi, I am in no way questioning the support that goes on here. There are some of the most caring, generous, beautiful people I know on this board. I guess our views of the board are simply different. I see it as a place to support as well as to share information - information that may help someone fight this pain, or even stop this pain. And I do not wish it to become a place where people are frightened to post what has worked for them, and I am not referring to the same group of people that post all the time, I am thinking more of the newer people. I have seen good people ripped to shreds for posting just such information. There was a person who posted that something called BC worked for him, and he was welcomed with mockery and criticism and people here saying that he musn't really have ch then. And when people post about Reiki healing helping them, they are again greeted by the same shit. Do I think that constitutes support? No. I think it constitutes people stuck in their patterns of thinking and bound together like the freakin' blood hound gang. Maybe it is my apparent newness that lends me this different vision of the board.
