For 20 years as a chronic I got use to the pain when it was at a low level. Then when they hit 10s I felt the same way, why not just give up. You know what an hour later I was alway glad I didn't give up.
Now I still get clusters, sometimes at low levels, sometime full blown, they are not as many as before. But there is always that one that makes me wish I could chopped off my head, or I had a gun. The good thing is down deep inside we just want that hour or two to end, not life itself.
You will make it, and you will be glad you did not give up.
