Don't give up. There are soooo many meds out there to try. My mother has been chronic for 14 years ans she has the same idea to give up every now and again , and with having 4-6 clusters a day for 14 years can take a toll. I wouldn't blame her if she did end it but what keeps her going is my support and understanding of the pain--I have clusters too-- and the possibility that the nest med may be the one that releives her from this hell forever.
