My son has already taken diflucan, and is still currently on a strict diet. NO PROCESSD FOOD. We also give him pro-biotics, including l. acidopholis, caprylic acid(kills yeast), and lots of stuff to help his immune system. Like you, I believe a fungas or bacteria is behind his attacks. We did try the diflucan once before but did nothing else, and only saw minnimal relief. Now, with the diet change, and supplements, he is almost cluster free. My allergist here is an amazing doctor, and found there to be plenty of evidence to support my theories. I hope you too have found a doctor to help find the ultimate answer... a cause, and a cure.
