If there are still some of you out there who have not tried imitrex injections as an abortive medication I don't know what you're waiting for. It has shown great success for many people and may work for you. This in combination with proper maintanance meds (verapamil daily and prednisone declyning dosage when I fell an episode coming on) has kept me going for the past 4 years. Of course there are some people who's body can not take imitrex(heart related issues)So it is not for everyone but if you haven't tried it you don't know what you're missing.
