That is really wonderful news. All the thanks we need is a bit more information.
More and more success stories regarding treatment with psilocybin mushrooms and/or LSD are being posted on this board recently... seems like at least one a week now, but we still have a fairly limited number, and details are often sketchy. Some of us are trying to get the medical community interested in this approach, and the more data we have, the higher our chance of eventual success.
A few questions:
How many years has he had CH? Episodic or chronic?
How many headaches per day at the peak of the cycle? How long does each headache usually last? How long does each CYCLE usually last? How far into the cycle was he when he took the mushroom tea?
Was this his first ever dose of mushrooms? You say he took "another cup" in the midst of the ordeal. This implies that there had been a previous cup before the actual headache started. May we have a clarification, please?
How much (by weight) mushroom was used to make the tea? Does he have more on hand in case the headaches return?
Were there any side-effects at all from the tea, other than the pain relief? Giggles, dizziness, anything at all out of the ordinary?
And finally, could you give us an update from time to time as to his progress? We would all like to know how long this dose will keep the headaches at bay.
