Two nights ago I watched with anxious heart and absolute fear as the new man in my life suffered his first CH infront of me. Yes I have heard of these things. Yes I knew from years of association with the family, that these were absolutely horrible things. Yet, I have to admit, I looked at this man, huge, strong, my own personal hurcules and honestly wondered what could possibly knock him down.
I know now!
I also watched with awe and admiration as his children tended to him with love and care and with such incomprehensible compassion and knowing. They not only knew exactly what to do, but knew exactly what not to do as well. It was a scene that not only frightened me but gave me great pause to reflect on the strength, love and dedication that is required to indure these horrific things as well as to live on the other side and watch the one you love endure them.
You all have my respect and admiration!
A final note, this extrodinary man of mine is one of the ones that has tried the shrooms. He took another cup in the midst of the ordeal and within 20 minutes aborted it like someone had passed a magic wand over him. He slept for 12 hours straight after that and woke up "feeling like a million bucks!"
Bless all who had the guts to try this and share your results, without you, he would not have had the courage to try it himself, he says.
